About My Clients
With over 15 years of mental health experience, my scope of practice caters to adults who are experiencing stress while adjusting to specific life changes/adjustments (i.e., break-up, divorce, work stress, empty nester, decision-making, grief, preparing for retirement, young adults transitioning into independent decision-making, etc.) and as a result, the individual is having stress-related anxiety or a bit of a low mood (without the inclusion of suicidal thoughts or self-harming behaviors).
My Background and Approach
Using the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach, counseling with me typically consists of 6-9 sessions; which means my clients must be ready to take accountability for reaching their goals and ready to do the work; and as your counselor, I will be right by your side along the way! way! ** Please Note: I do not specialize in trauma, substance use, suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviors, or crisis services. My counseling style is similar to life coaching; therefore, the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach may not be the best fit for these particular concerns.

My communication style can be described as supportive, solution-focused, engaging and easy-going. When necessary, I provide practical-application assignments to assist you with applying plan into action. With patience and empathy, I believe in meeting you where you are. I pride myself in successfully helping clients establish thought processes based on their values. With an appropriate level of readiness, clients begin to apply value-based thinking to in order to implement value-based decision making; rewarding themselves with an unapologetic approach to getting their most inner needs met!
