About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns. If intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, excessive worry, or unhealthy coping patterns are interfering with your life, I can help. Using evidence-based approaches including ERP, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, I help clients build practical skills, reduce symptoms, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 17 years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and have worked in a variety of settings, including the Georgia Department of Justice, outpatient and residential treatment programs, schools, and foster care systems. I specialize in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions. My approach is grounded in evidence-based treatments, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. As a member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), I stay current on best practices so clients receive effective, research-supported care tailored to their needs.
