About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. Many are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, identity exploration, or life transitions. You might be thoughtful and self-aware but still find yourself caught in patterns that are hard to shift. I also work closely with LGBTQ+ clients and those seeking a space where they don’t have to explain or defend who they are.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative, active, and grounded in real life. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Therapy should be tailored to you. Some sessions may focus on gaining insight into patterns and past experiences, while others are more focused on problem-solving and making concrete changes in your daily life. I integrate a range of approaches, including relational, cognitive behavioral, and trauma-informed perspectives, depending on what feels most helpful. I check in regularly to make sure our work feels useful and aligned with your goals. At its core, therapy with me is about creating a space where you feel comfortable being honest, supported in understanding yourself more deeply, and able to move forward in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up fully as yourself without needing to explain or minimize your identity. As an active member of the LGBTQ community, I value creating an environment that is affirming, respectful, and grounded in real understanding. I also believe mental health cannot be separated from the systems we live within. Race, culture, gender identity, and lived experience shape how we experience stress, safety, and belonging. I approach this work with cultural awareness, humility, and a commitment to ongoing learning. My values center on authenticity, equity, and honesty. Therapy is not about changing who you are. It is about helping you feel more grounded in yourself and more able to live in a way that aligns with your values.
