Chris has worked in a variety of settings in the field of mental health. These settings include residential treatment, Emergency Department, community health and outpatient services as both a clinician and administrator. Offering services to children, adolescents, teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families, he focuses on each human’s ability to grow, change, develop, and adapt. Chris offers services for Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Trauma, Mood Disorders, and more.
My Background and Approach
Chris is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience working with adolescents and adults in residential, inpatient and outpatient settings. Chris received his Bachelor degree in Social Work from Lewis Clark State College and received his Master of Social Work from Boise State University in 2011. More recently Chris completed his Master's in Business Administration with a healthcare leadership emphasis from Boise State University. Chris has worked in a variety of settings in the field of mental health. These settings include residential treatment, Emergency Department, community health and outpatient services as both a clinician and administrator. Chris provides mental health counseling for individuals aged 8+ using a strengths-based, client-centered approach to therapy with an emphasis on relationship building and maintaining a strong therapeutic alliance. Chris maintains a trauma-informed perspective in therapy and has training in EMDR and CBT.
