About My Clients
My clients are LGBTQ+ and BIPOC adults who are exhausted by the weight of grief, racial stress, and the pressure to always be okay. They're often educators, artists, healthcare workers, organizers, and children of immigrants who care deeply about others but are struggling to extend that same care to themselves. Some are processing traumatic loss from suicide or cancer. Others are working through the long-term impacts of intergenerational trauma on their identity, relationships, and well-being.
My Background and Approach
I practice Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which means we explore the different parts of you — the ones that protect, the ones that carry pain, and the ones that long to be free. Therapy with me is a space where your full self is welcome. Your queerness, your cultural background, your grief, your complexity. We'll work together to help you build internal harmony, develop self-compassion, and move from awareness into lasting healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I came to this work through my own experiences with grief, loss, and the complexity of holding multiple identities. As a queer Filipino person, I understand first hand how cultural expectations, family loyalty, and systemic marginalization can shape how we see ourselves and how we cope. I bring that lived understanding into my work with clients.
