About My Clients
Do you feel like a different person in different rooms: one self at work, another with friends and partners, another with family? Maybe your beliefs have shifted, you've moved from home, or coming out as queer or poly cost relationships that couldn't hold the truth. I know that exhaustion, the grief of lost connections, the ache of never feeling known. You don't have to hide parts of yourself to be loved. I want to help you build relationships and a life where you get to show up whole.
My Background and Approach
I know grief doesn't always look the way people expect it to. Sometimes it's the death of someone you loved. Sometimes it's the slow loss of people who couldn't hold the whole truth of you, whether that came from coming out, changing beliefs, or simply becoming someone your family or community didn't expect. My work centers both types of grief, using attachment-informed, culturally responsive care, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand the parts of yourself shaped by your loss. I also bring a spiritually-informed lens for clients who want that included. My goal is to help you move through grief, in whatever form it takes, toward a life and relationships where you don't have to hide any part of who you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a white, queer, cis-woman with a spiritually-informed approach to this work, and I hold space for clients whose faith, culture, and identity are sometimes in tension with each other. I believe you shouldn't have to leave a part of yourself at the door to be understood, whether that's your spirituality, your relationships, or the version of you your family or community hasn't caught up to yet. This work is about integration, not explanation.
