About My Clients
My clients are thoughtful, driven, and often caregiving for others while neglecting themselves. Many are Asian American adults navigating burnout, transitions, or long-standing patterns rooted in cultural or relational wounds. They’re ready for deeper, focused work and drawn to therapy intensives as a way to move through stuckness, reconnect with themselves, and find clarity without the slow pace of weekly therapy.
My Background and Approach
As a Korean American therapist, I specialize in working with clients navigate emotional overwhelm, burnout, cultural identity, communication challenges, relational trauma, adoption-related wounds, life transitions, and ADHD. These experiences often carry layers of complexity that don’t resolve with surface-level coping tools. My therapy intensives offer a focused, spacious alternative to weekly sessions, which are ideal for those ready to explore these deeper patterns with clarity and care. My approach helps you identify the parts of you that feel stuck, protective, or overwhelmed, and gently brings them into dialogue and healing. We’ll explore how your past experiences shaped the roles you’ve had to carry, and create space for new ways of relating to yourself and others. This work is relational, reflective, emotionally honest, and culturally attuned. Intensives are ideal for those who are ready to slow down, listen inward, and shift longstanding patterns with care and clarity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You might be someone who’s done a lot of inner work, but still feels stuck in the same emotional patterns, burned out by caregiving roles, or disconnected from your sense of self. I offer therapy intensives for people who are ready to go deeper -- to make space for long-held pain, unravel survival roles, and reconnect with clarity, meaning, and groundedness. As a Korean American therapist, I understand how culture, identity, and relational dynamics shape how we carry pain and how we hide it. My approach is warm, spacious, and non-pathologizing. I believe you are not broken, but layered. I value emotional honesty, cultural attunement, and holding space for all the parts of you that haven't yet had a voice. If you’re longing for focused support that moves beyond surface coping, I offer a space where your full complexity is welcomed and where deep, lasting shifts can happen.
