I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and I help clients unlock their true potential by learning to manage their symptoms with skillful, evidence-based tools. My mission is to empower clients to become masters of ERP. It takes time, persistency, and practice, but it is possible to live the life you want to live.
My Background and Approach
I provide individual Exposure Response Prevention services through the telehealth platform. Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) is considered the gold standard treatment for OCD and other related anxiety disorders. I encourage all my clients to take a risk and lean into the zone of uncertainty, as we put OCD fears to the test. Together, we team up to challenge the OCD and anxiety patterns. Overtime, you rewire the brain and transform how you experience your symptoms. With a gradual, repetitive, and prolonged approach, you work on facing your fears, and practice sitting with your anxiety as it naturally rides out without doing the compulsive behavior you would normally do in an attempt to control the distress. Essentially, the thoughts and feelings may still be there, but the frequency and intensity of the obsessions weakens and you become free from the need to do rituals.
