About My Clients

My ideal clients are adults, couples, and multicultural relationships navigating anxiety, depression, personality disorders, relationship issues, grief, family conflict, life transitions, and cultural identity stress. Many feel stuck in people-pleasing, disconnection, perfectionism, or painful patterns in love, family, or friendship. I help clients slow down, understand themselves more deeply, and build healthier relationships, boundaries, and a stronger sense of self.

My Background and Approach

I provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy to help clients understand painful patterns, improve communication, strengthen boundaries, and build authentic relationships. I don’t lecture. Rather, I ask thoughtful questions that help clients look deeper, access their own insight, and create meaningful changes. As a proud introvert, I value the meaningful connections that emerge from intentional, slow-paced conversations. I work collaboratively with my clients to tailor therapy to their individual needs, recognizing that no single approach works for everyone. I integrate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and humanistic approaches such as Gestalt Therapy in my work. I have worked extensively with individuals and couples from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for healing and growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My philosophies are influenced by Gestalt theories, and from nature, pottery, and painting that teach about accepting, letting go, and persevering through changes. I believe healing begins with honesty, self-acceptance, and a willingness to take responsibility for the changes we want to make. We cannot always control what has happened to us or the environments that shaped us, but we can begin to notice our patterns, understand our needs, and choose how we want to respond moving forward. To me, acceptance is not resignation. Rather, it is the ability to face what is true with compassion and clarity. From that place, change becomes more grounded and meaningful. I believe growth happens when we recognize both our limitations and our agency. In therapy, I hope to support clients in developing deeper self-understanding, strengthening their sense of choice, and feeling more empowered to make changes that lead to more authentic relationships and a life that feels more aligned.
