About My Clients
My clients are often deep thinkers, emotionally self-aware, and exhausted from trying to “figure it out” alone. They may be navigating trauma, dissociation, relationship pain, or stuckness despite doing the inner work. I work with individuals and couples ready to move from insight to embodied healing, those who long to feel more whole, connected, and alive. My practice is affirming of LGBTQ+ clients, spiritual questioning, and ethical non-monogamy.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in trauma, attachment, and dissociation, integrating EMDR (in certification process) with parts-based models like Internal Family Systems and ego states therapy. My work is rooted in a non-pathologizing view of symptoms — as protective adaptations that helped you survive. I'm also completing advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), the gold standard for healing relational patterns. I draw from polyvagal theory, structural dissociation, and somatic and experiential methods to support nervous system regulation and self-trust. Therapy with me is compassionate, relational, and client-centered. Whether you’re working through trauma, navigating a stuck relationship, or craving a fuller connection to yourself, I’ll meet you with curiosity, attunement, and care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a space for liberation. That means honoring not just your personal story, but the larger systems — family, culture, religion, and oppression — that have shaped your experience. I don't see people as broken, but as doing the best they can with the strategies they've developed to survive. I believe healing happens in relationship, when we are seen, believed, and held with care. My work is LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-racist, sex-positive, and supportive of ethical non-monogamy. I hold space for spiritual exploration, religious trauma, and the messiness of being human. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. You’re allowed to be messy, tender, angry, unsure, hopeful, and everything in between. Therapy is where all of that is welcome.
