About My Clients
Through my experience in both the school and community mental health setting, I have gained experience in working with youth and identity formation, mothers navigating postpartum depression, and women and work issues. I also specialize in supporting BIPOC navigate healing from racial trauma, and LGBTQ+ teens/adults exploring their identity and relationships.
My Background and Approach
My purpose as a therapist is to help you embrace all the beautiful aspects of you! Life is messy, beautiful, and unpredictable, but together, we will find your light and choose the best path for you. We will praise your uniqueness and vulnerabilities, while building your self-esteem and confidence! I aim to foster a safe space of acceptance and self-love. I am dedicated to creating a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship that allows you to set the tone for our time together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a woman of color who has personally navigated racial trauma, sexism, and motherhood, I understand how important it is to feel seen and heard. Facilitating healing in a society that has historically been oppressive is so hard! I can wholeheartedly empathize with feeling like personal experiences are being dismissed. I see you. I hear you. Your experiences are valid. I will support you in understanding that you are you unique, beautiful, and important.
