About My Clients
I work with autistic and ADHD kids who can engage in telehealth, teens, and adults, as well as parents, partners, and co-parents of neurodivergent children. We talk about masking, meltdowns, executive functioning, school concerns, anxiety, relationships, and parenting disagreements. You’re not failing. You may just need support that understands the whole picture.
My Background and Approach
I’m a neurodivergent therapist, author, and speaker, and an ADHD mom raising autistic twin boys. I know how exhausting it is to meet everyone’s needs, so here you don’t have to explain or hide how your brain works. I hold a Doctorate of Social Work (USC) and a master’s in clinical psychology with a marriage and family therapy emphasis (Pepperdine), and I’m a licensed LMFT and LPCC. That means I look at the whole picture: you, your family, school, and relationships. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming. Rather than trying to fix you or your child, we focus on understanding how your brains work and building practical strategies that fit real life, from masking and meltdowns to executive functioning and parenting as a team. I also offer talks and trainings for educators, professionals, and parent groups, always with a little humor.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe neurodivergent brains aren’t broken, they’re different, and therapy shouldn’t ask anyone to be someone you’re not. I believe parents are doing their best with the information they have, and that “You’re not failing” is something we all need to hear more often. I spent years volunteering as a rape crisis counselor, and I’ve written chapters for two textbooks on the commercial sexual exploitation of children, so I take safety, trust, and dignity seriously. I also share what I’ve learned about neurodiversity through podcasts, magazine articles, and three appearances at the Autism Parenting Summit. I value honesty, practical help, and a good sense of humor, because laughing together helps people feel safe.
