My Background and Approach
I use proven strategies to assist individuals in becoming the best version of themselves. I provide a warm and safe space to assist in the change journey. My counseling style is down-to-earth, relaxed, and adjustable to each person's unique needs. I believe in meeting you where you are and giving you the freedom to make the best choices for your life. Your specific needs and goals direct my approach, and we will work together to develop a customized treatment plan. I have spent several years working with children, teens, and families in various agency settings such as NOLA-Public Schools, Recovery School District, Department of Children & Family Services, Office of Juvenile Justice, Jefferson Parish Human Services District, and Gulf Coast Teaching Family Services. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2006. And my Master of Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans in 2010.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in connecting with my clients to form a trusting relationship to support their growth. I encourage my clients to be brave, take risks, be vulnerable, and trust the process. I will journey with you to make the necessary behavioral changes and learn new coping strategies and social skills to become your best version
