About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients struggle with eating disorders, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, or personality-related challenges. I also support individuals managing chronic illness or chronic pain. Parents often seek help for children with behavioral or emotional regulation concerns. My clients want structure, clarity, and practical tools that create lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed therapist specializing in eating disorders, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions. I also treat ADHD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, and impulse control challenges. My approach is structured, evidence-based, and skills-focused. I integrate cognitive and behavioral strategies to improve emotional regulation, reduce symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and build sustainable routines. I have experience working across levels of care and supporting clients with complex presentations, including dual diagnoses and chronic medical conditions. As a lupus and rheumatoid arthritis survivor, I understand firsthand the psychological impact of chronic illness and the resilience it requires. This perspective informs my work with clients managing both emotional and physical health challenges. Clients can expect direct feedback, practical tools, and measurable progress. My goal is not only insight, but meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be structured, compassionate, and collaborative. Growth happens when clients feel safe, challenged, and equipped with real tools. I value resilience, accountability, and practical change, and I believe healing is possible at any stage of life.
