About My Clients
Anxiety, family conflict, and substance use can quietly strain even the strongest individuals and families. I work with children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whether it’s navigating complex family dynamics, managing anxiety, or rebuilding after addiction, we focus on practical tools, emotional awareness, and healthier communication so you can feel steadier, more connected, and confident moving forward.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor Candidate working with children, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, substance use, and family conflict. My background across inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings strengthens my ability to assess risk, guide level-of-care decisions, and support families through high-stress transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and systems-focused. I integrate DBT, CBT, ACT, and family systems therapy to build emotional regulation, practical coping tools, and healthier communication. Certified in DC:0–5, I also bring a strong developmental lens to early childhood and parenting work. Clients benefit from individualized, strengths-based care that fosters resilience, clarity, and lasting connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe behavior—especially in children and families—is a form of communication. I believe healing happens in safe, honest relationships where all voices are valued. Therapy should be collaborative, practical, and grounded in both compassion and accountability. I believe in meeting people without shame, honoring their identities and lived experiences, and helping them build skills that foster resilience and meaningful change. Most of all, I believe growth is always possible, with the right support.
