About My Clients

I work with clients who may be struggling with a range of issues, clients who may need a space to be authentically themselves. Because each person is different from the next, I don't believe in a single way of treatment and will often incorporate various approaches that are tailored to your individual needs. My hope is that you will feel listened to, supported, never alone during our time. I have a lot of training and experience with trauma, anxiety/depression, and self-esteem.

My Background and Approach

Drawing on 8 years of experience with vulnerable populations and Trauma-Informed Care, I use a person-centered approach to therapy, while also including elements from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Feminist Therapy. This means we focus on you—your emotions, strengths, and sense of belonging—so you can navigate this wild, unpredictable world with confidence and purpose. My goal as a therapist is to never dictate what the therapy process looks like, as I believe healthy forms of therapy include a collaborative approach that centers your voice, emotions, and feelings. My hope is that our time together feels safe, supportive, and offers you an opportunity to become your best self.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we live in a world, in a society, that tries its hardest to make us feel small. I believe that we are constantly met with contradicting expectations of who and what we should be in this world. It is these kinds of expectations and norms that introduce pain and chaos into our lives. I value each individual for who they are and welcome diverse individuals, beliefs, and values into my space, with an effort to help you make sense of who you are in this world. Though therapy is hard work, I emphasize and encourage self-care in all forms with my clients (firm believer in receiving tattoos as a form of therapy) and am no stranger to recognizing that our society has not been built to encourage taking care of ourselves. I have spent the past 8 years working with and supporting members of the unhoused community through a variety of ways and am passionate about supporting individuals where they are at.
