About My Clients
My ideal client is a teen or adult who’s been carrying too much for too long. You might be neurodivergent, anxious, dealing with past trauma, or just plain overwhelmed. You want someone who gets it with no judgment, no pretending, just real talk and support that meets you where you’re at. If you’ve ever felt like you don’t quite fit, you’re in the right place.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience working with teens, adults, and veterans. I’ve worked in psych hospitals, with veterans, and inside the healthcare system, so I’ve seen how heavy life can get. My approach is honest, supportive, and focused on what actually helps. I use a mix of CBT, ACT, IFS, and trauma-informed care to help you make sense of your past, manage what’s happening now, and build something that feels better. I work well with neurodivergent folks, people carrying complex trauma, and anyone who’s felt misunderstood or dismissed. Therapy with me is collaborative. No lectures, no blank stares. Just a space to show up fully and start untangling what’s keeping you stuck.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and equity, no exceptions. I’m committed to social justice and creating a space where people of all identities feel seen and safe. I’m affirming of LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergent minds, disabled bodies, and anyone who’s been marginalized, silenced, or overlooked. I’m very liberal in my views and not afraid to name the systems that impact mental health. I support movements like Black Lives Matter and trans rights, and I believe mental health care should never ask you to shrink yourself to fit in. I work primarily with rural communities, where access and understanding can be harder to come by. This is a space for you to be your full self with honesty, compassion, and real support.
