About My Clients
I have a passion for working with couples, especially those who are dealing with really difficult situations. I also enjoy working with leaders and those in helping professions. If you are often expected to be “the strong one” or you are usually hesitant to seek help for your own issues, I would love to work with you.
My Background and Approach
I tailor my therapy approach to the needs and goals of my clients. Some of my specialties include blended families, boundaries, Christian Faith, communication, conflict resolution, couples, dating, divorce, divorce & re-marriage, engagement, families, infidelity, intimacy, military, pre-marital counseling, relationship maintenance, separation, therapy for therapists, and Veterans. I strive to create an environment where people can be open and honest about their struggles and where they can gain the necessary tools to heal. The idea of accountability, vulnerability, and compromise may not be a new concept to you, but your perspective about those ideas and how you can use them to become the best version of yourself may be. I would like to collaborate with you to work through any struggle or insecurity that may be hindering you in your relationship with yourself and others.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
All relationships require work, but the work doesn’t have to be hard. If you believe that you must go through difficult times in your relationships or that everyone has to struggle to get to the good stuff, then I want to offer you a different perspective. Your perspective and the language that you use about life situations have a lot to do with where you are in your healing journey. Some people will tell you that you cannot heal from certain instances in your life, such as trauma, and that you will have to learn how to manage those things at best. I am here to tell you that anything is possible and that you can do more than simply manage those difficult experiences. You have the ability to fully heal from them.
