Are you a woman who has experienced pregnancy loss? Are you currently pregnant following a loss? Or are you a new mom and struggling to adjust to motherhood? I understand the grief, anxiety and frustration and I don't want you to feel alone anymore. Therapy can help you process these life changes and together we can work towards a more balanced life.
My Background and Approach
My therapy approach is strongly based on the belief that in order for there to be a successful therapeutic outcome you and I must first build a strong rapport and sense of trust. Along with teaching you tools and techniques to manage your symptoms, I hope to walk with you on your journey as you grieve your loss or overcome anxiety. Losses come in many forms, the loss of a pregnancy, the loss of your independence, or the loss of your sense of self. Together we will address your specific situation, identify goals so we know you are making progress and re-adjust if needed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapy approach is strongly based on the belief that in order for there to be a successful therapeutic outcome you and I must first build a strong rapport and sense of trust. In an effort to be transparent, so that you know what you are getting when you reach out to me, I’d like to share a little about my journey to motherhood. I have 3 living children and 3 pregnancy losses over the course of 10 years. Becoming a parent is not as easy as it seems, especially when everyone around you is announcing their pregnancy. Supporting women who are struggling on this path to parenthood is at the core of my therapy because I know how hurtful it is to hear “better luck next time.”
