The client and I decide on which evidence based therapy to address and reduce their anxiety. Anxiety is the number one reason people make an appointment with me. I do utilize CBT to gather the history of their Anxiety and tract the severity. Often clients choose to have Clinical Hypnotherapy to learn to relax. Once they know how to relax. Once all the self-defeating beliefs have been identified and transformed--we often move on to identify what they need to live a life of thriving.

Clients usually do not present with the need to find Purpose in Life; however, this often is incorporated into therapy. Maybe it's their lack of confidence that is a barrier to their 'reaching for the stars'; or their childhood was not nurturing enough to give them the tools necessary to realize their unique Purpose, or their toxic relationship with a Narcissist has drained them of hope. It is indeed an honor to be a part of the healing process.

EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is a psychotherapy technique originally developed by Francine Shapiro. It identifies root causes of psychopathology in the form of disturbing memories. EMDR can alleviate symptoms from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) or other traumatic experiences that remain unresolved. It encompasses the following goals: Process disturbing memories Reduce the lingering effects of traumatic experiences Develop adaptive coping mechanisms in patients

When such “core issues” repeatedly come up with a partner, they can overshadow all that is good in a relationship and leave one to wonder whether he or she has chosen the right mate. Through Imago Relationship Therapy, couples can understand each other.
