About My Clients
I am accepting new patients in my office or via Zoom . I use a variety of proven techniques Hypnotherapy, PSYCH-K (which reduces stress and anxiety immediately), EMDR (for trauma). I specialize in marriage and couple's therapy. I utilize Eastern and Western Medicine techniques to treat anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am 100% Sex and Lifestyle friendly. I am in training through AASECT to become a Certified Sex Therapist. This qualifies me to treat people in the LBQT+ community.
My Background and Approach
I graduated with honors from both the University of Maine and the University of South Alabama. My elective course concentrations included women's studies, marriage and family, abnormal personality, and addiction. Outside of the university, I studied holistic and spiritual healing that has involved obtaining certifications in hypnotherapy, energy work, herbology, reflexology, aromatherapy, and Sex Therapy. As of March 2021, I am now a Certified Enneagram Coach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people are able to transcend their unique barriers to personal happiness and growth. Like Carl Rogers, I believe that creating a safe and supportive environment for all of my clients is of paramount importance. I also believe that having an understanding of the Enneagram speeds up the therapeutic experience. I work with the client to identify the source of self-defeating beliefs and together we transform Anxiety, Depression, or Trauma (for example) into Peace, Happiness, and Freedom.
