About My Clients

Foundational to my therapeutic approach is seeing you, hearing you, and accepting you exactly as you are. We all have an innate ability to heal, but we often need help figuring out what’s getting in our way. With non-judgement, compassion, and curiosity, I will guide you in reconnecting to yourself and to those who are important to you. I will empower you to recognize your needs and get those needs met.

My Background and Approach

Working together, I will invite you back to your life, helping you regain a sense of joy, peace, and ease. I create a safe space for adults at every stage of life to explore their deepest selves, free of critique and problem-solving. I use evidence-based treatments to help my clients discover, define, and achieve their goals. I'm especially drawn to helping people who have complicated lives, including those who have had limited success with counseling in the past. I am highly intuitive and meld my natural ability to attune to others with my advanced training in NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to help my clients feel seen and heard on the deepest level. I have over three decades of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Walla Walla University. I am licensed and practice in both Washington and Oregon.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I specialize in supporting adults of all ages through depression, trauma, cancer, aging, grief & loss, death & dying, and end-of-life planning. These are amongst life's most challenging transitions, and often ignite intense feelings of uncertainty, pain, discomfort, and regret. These transitions also necessitate additional planning, reflection, introspection, and reimagining. Instead of brushing these feelings aside, I will invite you on that journey. I am a trained ketamine therapist; when appropriate I can incorporate this psychedelic medication into our healing process. During my two-decade career working in hospital settings, I served patients and their families holistically. I have specialized experience in cancer care and am a survivor of cancer myself. I also have a deep understanding of highly sensitive people (HSP) and am an LGBTQ+ friendly counselor.
