About My Clients
I work alongside my clients as they embark on a journey of diving deep into self-exploration, developing actionable insights, navigating relationships, and identifying and expressing emotional needs. Further, we work together to build and enhance skills to manage and ultimately discard distressing thoughts, feelings, and symptoms.
My Background and Approach
I integrate a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic (insight-oriented) therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, as well as other solution-focused and mindfulness-based techniques. While I help clients with many types of difficulties, I have particular expertise in the treatment of anxiety, depression, work stress, culture and identity issues, adult ADHD, trauma, and relational problems at work, with partners, friends, and family.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy is a unique experience that can be challenging, yet it tends to offer great rewards. In fact, self-work is a large contributor to helping us achieve progress in our lives. The difficult thoughts and feelings that we hold deep within ourselves, can negatively impact our mood, success, health and overall happiness; that is, until we make the brave decision to unearth, examine, and learn from them in the therapeutic process.
