About My Clients
I work with adults who may look like they have it all together but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck inside. I support clients navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, and difficulty trusting themselves. Many know logically why they feel the way they do but still struggle to change how they feel. You don't have to know exactly what's wrong to begin—we can figure it out together.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, with training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I take a warm, collaborative approach and believe therapy should be tailored to the person, not the other way around. Together, we can explore where patterns come from, how past experiences may still affect you, and what you need to feel more connected to yourself. EMDR is one of my primary approaches, particularly when past experiences continue to show up through anxiety, emotional reactions, intrusive memories, or relationship patterns. I draw from IFS, CBT, and DBT as needed to support your individual goals and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be fully yourself—without having to perform, have the right answers, or pretend you're doing better than you are. I believe people make sense when we understand what they've been through, and that healing doesn't mean becoming a completely different person. It means having more freedom to choose how you want to live, relate, and respond. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my dog, exploring new places, being creative, and finding humor in everyday life. I value authenticity, curiosity, compassion, and creating spaces where people feel accepted for who they are. I bring that same openness and genuine curiosity into my work with clients.
