I specialize working with individuals, families and couples with different cultural backgrounds. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish and specialize working with the impact that trauma, immigrant identities and bicultural issues can have on you.
My Background and Approach
My approach is to be warm, genuine, open and honest. My therapeutic approach comes from a family systems perspective as well as interpersonal framework. We'll explore different aspects of one self and enhance your ability to identify and analyze problems, explore solutions, and deepen your interpersonal connections. In recognizing your own strengths, my goal is to empower and understand you. I’m going to meet you right as you are, right now.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the capacity to learn and relearn from old unhealthy habits to establishing new ones. I am welcoming of working with all different cultural and racial backgrounds and taking a deep dive into understanding how our childhood, societal world and much more can shape certain messages and ideas about ourselves. I truly respect the sanctity of therapy and work towards creating a safe space in order to learn more about yourself.
