About My Clients
~ I won’t do anything that I think I should do. Do you also have mountains of shoulds? How exhausting and overwhelming it is to never measure up to our own or others’ expectations. ~ Are you pretty good at understanding others and helping them get along? When you’re with other people, do you find that you spend most of your time trying to make them happy only to be alone and realize that your own happiness seems to be the cost?
My Background and Approach
Let me help you find your pathway out of this continual self haranguing and self sabotaging. When you find alignment within yourself it will give you clarity on your actual desires, new vitality and empowerment for manifesting your goals. I would love to support you with getting unstuck and renewing your energy. It is possible to honor our own needs AND still be kind to others. I can support you to reconnect with your own voice and internal yearnings, to help you experience more wholeness and feel resourced. I facilitate visualizations and parts dialogues that promote greater self-understanding and healing. I trust your inner knowing and through my calm, curious presence, we will expand your capacity to have compassion for yourself, make genuine changes in your life, and be more of the person you want to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the counseling space I create for us is a sacred space filled with the compassion and attention that we all need on our journey towards thriving in the world. Schedule with me now to take the next step in actively caring for your well-being. I believe that individually in the USA, we all are conditioned with white imperialist, English-speaking, cisgender, heterosexual, male, upper to upper middle class, neurotypical, able bodied, Christian normativity. And the systems of our country are designed to promote and protect the most powerful. I believe that we are also conditioned to be our own biggest critics, to chastise ourselves for mistakes, and put ourselves down in order to get better, work harder, and be smarter. The struggle is real and these things are not true. Self-compassion is the best remedy I have found.
