My Background and Approach
Curious Life Counseling…curious minds embracing the human experience! I am a holistic, eclectic clinician who incorporates integrative health for mental health and evidence-based practices including DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, Exposure Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. Neuroscience, psychoeducation, and Expressive Arts are infused including journaling, mindfulness, and life coaching that promotes creative development, personal growth, and holistic healing. As a licensed clinician in North Carolina and Florida, and as the owner of a Veteran-owned practice, I value integrity, curiosity, and collaboration. At Curious Life Counseling, we focus on curious minds embracing the human experience to build greater resilience, self-awareness, introspection, and self-acceptance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We are an all-inclusive practice that celebrates one love, which embraces the human experience of diversity, unity, and acceptance for all. Curious Life Counseling believes without practice there can be no change. We strive to assist individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I support our military and Veterans. I have volunteered with disabled Veterans at retreats and continue to offer support to all who serve or have served. I have volunteered in my community to help with our schools, community gardens, the homeless, and non-profits. I support women, sexual abuse survivors, and NPE (Not Parent Expected) surprises.
