About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who is ready to explore the roots of their pain and create space for lasting change. I work well with adults who are navigating trauma, family of origin wounds, and the impact of high conflict relationships. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, but you are also insightful, curious, and open to deeper healing. Together we will build a path forward that feels grounded, authentic, and sustainable.
My Background and Approach
I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada, and moved to the U.S. in 2012 to further my education and build a life in the Pacific Northwest. I bring over a decade of experience as a social worker, with a background in social services, nonprofits, and community mental health. My approach is attachment-based, trauma-informed, and relational. I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT, and somatic practices to support clients healing from complex trauma, family of origin wounds, and high-conflict relationships. I see therapy as a collaborative space where you are met with compassion, curiosity, and honesty. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore patterns, build insight, and make space for healing. Outside of work, I find joy in being outdoors, tending to my vegetable garden, cooking for my family, and cozying up with a good book.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward healing at your own pace. My role is not to fix you, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and clinical skill. I believe that who you are; your identity, culture, values, and lived experience, matters deeply and will be honored in our work together. I approach therapy through a trauma-informed, relational, and intersectional lens, with the understanding that healing is not linear and that growth often begins with safety. I trust in your inner wisdom, even when it feels out of reach, and believe that change is possible through connection, insight, and intention. Therapy is a courageous investment in yourself, and it’s a privilege to witness and support that journey. I am currently offering telehealth therapy across WA state and Walk and Talk sessions at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, WA.
