About My Clients

My ideal clients are individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, addiction, behavioral challenges, and the lasting impact of adverse childhood experiences. Many come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or unsure how to move forward. Others are working through generational trauma, disrupted attachments, or the complexities of foster care and system involvement. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in the belief that people can change and grow at any point in their lives. Self‑awareness is the first step toward that transformation, and the therapeutic relationship provides the safety, trust, and collaboration needed to support it. I help clients explore the connection between past experiences and present patterns, drawing from the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model to guide healing and integration. Clinically, I specialize in trauma‑informed, attachment‑focused care using CBT, DBT, REBT, Solution‑Focused Therapy, and psychoeducation. I also integrate TBRI principles to support individuals and families navigating the effects of trauma and disrupted attachment. As I pursue EMDR training, I continue expanding my ability to help clients process what feels overwhelming or stuck. My style blends compassion with gentle, honest feedback to help clients recognize unhelpful patterns and build meaningful, lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every person has the capacity to change, heal, and grow at any point in their lives. Self‑awareness is the first step toward that transformation, and the therapeutic relationship provides the safety and support needed to explore it. I help clients understand the connection between past experiences and present patterns, using the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model to guide meaningful, lasting change. When we work together, old wounds can be integrated, new insights can emerge, and healthier ways of being can take root.
