About My Clients
I am a Spanish-speaking therapist working with children and adolescents (0-17) as well as young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or difficulties with life transitions. I utilize a strength based approach in which we collaborate to increase your self-esteem, establishing trust and confidence in oneself. I work with you to uncover patters that may have you feeling “stuck” and explore past events that may have led you to believe negative thoughts about oneself.
My Background and Approach
In my practice, I believe everyone has the potential to heal their past emotional wounds through company of an objective, caring, and compassionate therapist. I will challenge you at times to increase awareness of patterns that we have become numb to. I create personalized treatment that fits your concerns (depressed, anxious, stressed, life transitions) by listening diligently to what your needs are. I use an eclectic collection of therapy models that pull from your strengths to increase self-esteem, thoughts as they reflect how we behave and feel, as well as an emphasis on attachment to significant relationships in your life.
