About My Clients
My clients are adults healing from the impacts of childhood abuse, neglect, and other adverse experiences, including Complex PTSD and dissociation. Many of my clients are also autistic, ADHD, or exploring a late-identified neurodivergent identity. Together, we explore how early experiences continue to shape the present while building practical tools for coping, connection, self-understanding, and meaningful change in a space that is compassionate, collaborative, and neuroaffirming.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is both psychodynamic and depathologizing. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" we explore, "What happened to you?" and "How have you adapted to survive?" I believe that many of the ways we cope—including anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, dissociation, or even suicidality—developed for important reasons, even if they no longer serve us in the present. Psychodynamic therapy helps us understand how past experiences, relationships, and patterns continue to shape your thoughts, emotions, and interactions today. Together, we will gently uncover these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. At the same time, I value practical support and collaboration, helping you build tools that can improve daily life while creating space for deeper healing, self-understanding, and lasting change. I believe there is nothing inherently wrong with who you are.
