psy-che PLLC specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, dual diagnoses, trauma, domestic violence and sexual assault, substance abuse, and grief/loss. We are ready, willing, able, and excited to work with anyone taking the initiative to prioritize his/her/their overall wellness and stability, whether be it processing adverse childhood experiences, working through current transitions, obtaining psycho-education and support, or just making sense of this journey we call life.
My Background and Approach
Therapy is simply a tool to utilize to find a path to a healthier, more stable future. We cannot navigate our future without understanding the impact of our past. We cannot adjust our behaviors without delving into our inner thoughts. We offer compassion and a down-to-earth style of communication, accompanied by an emphasis on accountability and self-motivation. We provide individual psychotherapy to adults, utilizing tools from cognitive-behavioral approaches, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, trauma-informed treatment, etc. We are licensed master level clinicians with unique experiences in the field of mental health and social work, which we enjoy applying to our therapeutic approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the outer world lacks compassion, due to systemic failures, stigmas, and our learned inability to love ourselves or the life surrounding us. The therapeutic relationship is one unlike any other; it is a space where you get to openly re-evaluate your beliefs, values, and core being. It provides the safety and security necessary to explore the true self: the parts we have neglected, the ones we hold dearly, some that need a tune up, and the ones we have yet to discover.
