About My Clients
I believe that each person innately holds the answers to their own healing, yet healing can often be blocked by deeply embedded societal systems, stigmatization, oppression, and past trauma. I believe that each person can discover, trust, and give voice to their most authentic self with support. Therapeutically, I endeavor to co-create solutions with those experiencing unwanted effects of trauma which can be experienced and manifest in our lives in many ways (anxiety, depression, addiction)
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about helping clients recover from addiction, unresolved trauma, and adverse childhood experiences. I am EMDR trained, work through an intersectional lens and utilize various therapeutic modalities proven to restore a sense of safety, illuminate underlining issues, and develop internal resources to allow you to recognize and determine what is and isn’t serving your life today. When working with me, you can expect me to listen, honor your pace and seek to understand your goals. I offer flexibility, empathy, respect, transparency, and a compassionate yet direct, non-judgmental approach.
