About My Clients
Do you feel lost or disconnected from yourself? Are you having trouble trusting others or feeling safe? Unresolved traumatic experiences can profoundly change the way you view yourself, others, and the world. I can help by creating a safe, supportive, and structured space where you can begin to confront and process past experiences without fear of being overwhelmed. Let's work together to create a path forward where you can feel safer, stronger, and more connected to yourself and others.
My Background and Approach
My background is rooted in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and high-stress life experiences. I’ve supported survivors of abuse, human trafficking, and crisis, as well as children and families involved in complex systems. These experiences shaped my trauma-informed, client-centered approach, where safety, trust, and pacing are essential. I draw from evidence-based therapies like CBT and CPT to help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and process experiences in a way that feels manageable. I also recognize that mental health is influenced by relationships, environments, and systems, so our work will focus on both immediate relief and long-term growth. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health and access to mental healthcare are fundamental human rights. Additionally, I believe representation matters; and everyone deserves care that honors their identity, experiences, and inherent dignity. My work is grounded in social justice, recognizing that many challenges are shaped by larger systems, not just individual circumstances. I’m especially committed to expanding access to care for trauma survivors, including active military members, veterans, and their families. I support this work through my role as a faculty sponsor for a Student Veteran Organization. I’ve also volunteered to provide free mental health support to individuals and families impacted by disasters and served as a humanitarian aid worker among refugees. These experiences continue to shape my commitment to equity, advocacy, and compassionate, accessible care.
