About My Clients
Would you like to get back to your old self? I provide support for issues of family relationships/estrangement, childhood trauma, stress, communication problems, life changes, anxiety, depression, parenting concerns, and living with ADHD/ASD. Please note that I do *not* treat active addiction, active eating disorders, bipolar disorder, or personality disorders, and I do not diagnose ADHD/ASD. However, I am open to a conversation if these co-occur with any of the concerns I do treat.
My Background and Approach
I graduated in 2024 from SUNY Brockport and have been licensed since 2026. My background is in community mental health, where I have treated a wide variety of diagnoses since 2023. My approach has been 100% person-centered while pulling from trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. In exploring private practice, I am mostly providing telehealth services and would enjoy meeting those in the Rochester area for in-person sessions in unconventional non-office settings, such as over a coffee or while walking in a local park.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I enjoy reading, hiking, watching Doctor Who, spending time with my family, celebrating holidays and birthdays, and fixing up my 100 year old house. I am very passionate about science literacy and enjoy catching up on the latest scientific research. I strongly believe that knowledge is power and that it must be delivered with a message of love. I grew up in multiple states and in multiracial neighborhoods, which has enriched both my personal life and my professional practice. Whoever you are, I would be honored to sit with you and talk about it.
