About My Clients
My practice is trauma-informed, focused on validating each person’s unique experience while gently providing the tools needed for growth and recovery. With training in EMDR, I specialize in helping clients process trauma and build resilience. I am proud to offer affirming, inclusive care to individuals exploring their gender identity and sexual orientation.
My Background and Approach
I’m a therapist who brings warmth, curiosity, and collaboration into the therapy space. I’m trained in EMDR, CBT, and perinatal mental health, which allows me to support clients through trauma, anxiety, and life transitions with a flexible, evidence-based approach. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as an educator, which deepened my ability to meet people where they are and foster a sense of safety and trust. I also offer a safe, affirming space for individuals in the LGBTQ+ community to explore their stories, identities, and experiences without fear of judgment. Whether you're navigating new parenthood, healing from past experiences, or working to shift unhelpful thought patterns, I offer practical tools and a compassionate partnership to help you move forward in ways that feel right for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strive to meet each individual where they are, offering support and guidance in navigating identity questions, transitions, or external pressures. Whether you're exploring new aspects of your identity or seeking support around societal or familial expectations, I am here to help you feel seen, heard, and understood. I also bring expertise in perinatal mental health, understanding the unique challenges that can arise during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Through our work together, my goal is to help you regain a sense of safety, empower your healing, and guide you toward rediscovering strength within yourself. I personally understand how beneficial therapy is to bettering one’s life. Asking for help can be daunting but I am excited for the opportunity to help you take this step.
