About My Clients
You might look like you’re handling everything—but inside, you feel anxious, stuck, or exhausted from overthinking and carrying the weight of your past. If you’re struggling to move forward or make sense of what you’re feeling, you’re not alone. I specialize in working with individuals ages 18–40 who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I began my career working as a children's mental health therapist. Over time, I began to realize the overwhelming effect that mental health has had on my own generation. "Emerging Adulthood" is a fairly rare and often ignored life stage, and encompasses unique challenges and life transitions. I eventually moved to working with adults aged 18-40, and I can safely say that I found my calling. In my practice, I use a collaborative, compassionate approach, integrating CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed, attachment-focused work to help you build practical coping skills while addressing the root causes to support lasting change. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. You don’t have to do that here. If you’re ready to better understand yourself, heal from the past, and move forward with more clarity and confidence, I would be honored for you to reach out to me!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
There is light and magic inside all of us. We are all capable of growth, change, and finding peace in our everyday lives. Our mental health is undoubtedly shaped not only by our personal histories, but also by the systems we live within, including our social, cultural, and political realities. As such, I feel strongly about holding space for those influences in our work together. Throughout my life, I have struggled with severe trauma, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and low self-esteem. During my own therapy journey, I learned how to better manage these struggles and walk alongside them instead of being controlled by them. That freedom is an experience that I wish for you more than anything. Outside of my clinical work, I engage in community activities that support marginalized communities. I am also an artist, musician, animal lover, and consider myself a huge nerd! If you want to learn more about how I can help you, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
