About My Clients
I work best with adults and teens who experience the world deeply and often feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally overloaded. Many are thoughtful, sensitive, and introspective, yet feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or pulling away when things feel like too much. Some are navigating trauma, ADHD, or long-term stress and are seeking depth, understanding, and meaningful, lasting change rather than quick fixes.
My Background and Approach
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training in trauma-informed care and experience working with adults and teens navigating anxiety, ADHD, and emotional overwhelm. My background allows me to understand how past experiences, nervous system patterns, and relational dynamics shape the way you think, feel, and respond to the world. I bring a thoughtful, relational approach to therapy, helping clients feel safe enough to explore deeply, build self-awareness, and create lasting change. My work is especially supportive for those who feel deeply, think often, and are seeking therapy that honors complexity rather than quick solutions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and safe to be themselves. I value authenticity, emotional honesty, and curiosity over judgment. I am committed to providing an inclusive, affirming space and am supportive of LGBTQ+ individuals and diverse identities. I also believe in honoring emotional sensitivity and the wisdom of the nervous system, especially for those who have learned to cope by staying guarded or disconnected. My work is rooted in compassion, integrity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.
