About My Clients
I work with clients who’ve experienced trauma and want a compassionate, body-based path to healing. Many come feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, and are seeking support that honors both their nervous system and their story. Through IFS, EMDR, and somatic approaches, I help clients gently reconnect with themselves, feel safer in their bodies, and move toward healing at a pace that feels grounded and respectful.
My Background and Approach
I’m an LPCC therapist in Minnesota, trained in IFS (Levels 1, 2, and 3) and EMDR through EMDRIA. As a Jewish clinician, my identity and lived experience inform the way I show up with warmth, compassion, and deep respect for each person’s story. I’ve seen firsthand the power of working with the nervous system and the internal world of parts—how IFS, EMDR, and somatic practices can create space for healing after trauma, overwhelm, or disconnection. My approach is gentle, body-based, and collaborative. I hold a space where clients can feel understood, supported, and met with curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we work at a pace that honors the nervous system, tending to the body’s wisdom while creating room for clarity, self-compassion, and inner strength. Whether someone is seeking trauma healing, nervous system regulation, or a deeper relationship with themselves, I’m here to walk alongside them—not as the expert on their life, but as a partner in the process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is possible for every person, and that each of us carries a unique story shaped by experience, culture, and connection. I believe that the body holds wisdom, and that true transformation often unfolds through compassionate attention to the nervous system, internal parts, and felt experience—not just thoughts alone. I believe in the innate resilience of people, that beneath pain and overwhelm lies a deeper capacity for safety, connection, and self-trust. I believe that therapy is not about fixing what’s “wrong,” but about meeting what is with curiosity, gentleness, and courage. I believe that when a person feels truly seen and heard—without judgment—they can begin to soften shame, reclaim parts of themselves that have been stuck, and learn to live from a place of greater authenticity and ease. I believe in presence over perfection, in pacing that honors the nervous system, and in healing as a relational, embodied journey—not a destination.
