About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, behavioral concerns, self-esteem difficulties, life transitions and relationship issues. I also see couples and families. I value how culture, family and identity shape each person's story. Sessions are in person in Brooklyn or online across New York, in English or Russian.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to creating a warm, supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I believe healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity and collaboration. I have specialized training in play therapy and sand tray therapy. My approach is tailored to each client and integrates evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, person-centered and emotion-focused therapy, attachment-based work and mindfulness. With younger clients, I use play-based techniques that help them express emotions, build coping skills and strengthen confidence, and I invite parents to take part in the process. As a Russian-speaking Jewish therapist, I provide culturally responsive care that meets each client where they are.
