About My Clients
I work with Adolescents (15+) and Adults. I have experience working with multicultural clients from all socioeconomic backgrounds. My experience includes working with clients with issues involving addiction, trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, women's issues, anger, codependency, divorce, intimate partner violence, racial identity, stress, peer relationships, and depression among others. I invite you into a warm, soothing, nonjudgemental space to work through those things significant to you.
My Background and Approach
I have over 10 years experience working with adolescents, adults, & abused/neglected children. I was also the liaison for Union County Department of Social Services and the FBI in regards to Human Trafficking. I am client centered and believe that each client is unique as are their life and their issues. My eclectic approach is specific to the needs of each individual client which allows me to meet each person where they are walking along side them on their journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a community activist. I believe that supporting the most vulnerable in our community--abused/neglected children, women, elderly, homeless, and animals are very important. As an African American female therapist, I believe that Black Lives Matter. I believe inclusion is important and that all people are created equal. Freedom is very important for all to experience--freedom to think independently, learn, and grow into the being you are destined to be.
