My Background and Approach
I have experience with clients dealing with the spectrum of anxiety disorders (panic, generalized anxiety, OCD), as well as depressive disorders, stress-related conditions, grief and loss, trauma, and low self-esteem issues. I have experience working in a variety of mental health settings treating children, adolescents and adults. I am committed to evidence-based practice and have been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and traditional Holistic approaches such as motivational interviewing, mindfulness, meditation and other techniques that can increase an individual's strengths in treatment. My main focus is to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
