About My Clients
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stretched between cultural identity, family expectations, and their own needs. Whether it’s anxiety, relationship struggles, communication or a tendency to put others first, it can feel exhausting to carry so much. I work with individuals and couples to strengthen emotional regulation, explore identity, and build healthier patterns so that life feels more balanced and connected.
My Background and Approach
My approach begins with creating a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. I believe that before diving into deeper work, it’s essential to strengthen emotional regulation so you have reliable tools to manage difficult feelings as they arise. Together, we’ll explore patterns such as people-pleasing, self-doubt, or conflict in relationships, while also honoring the cultural and family contexts that shape your story. I integrate mindfulness practices, expressive tools like sand tray and meditative instruments, and practical, goal-focused strategies to support both reflection and growth. For couples, I focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and deepening connection. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and affirming of LGBTQIA+ and diverse identities. Wherever you are in your journey, I’ll meet you there, and together we’ll work toward clarity, balance, and a stronger sense of self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
believe that healing begins with compassion—for ourselves and for others. Many of us grow up carrying cultural, family, or societal expectations that teach us to silence our needs or prioritize others over ourselves. I see therapy as a place to challenge those patterns and to practice showing up more fully and authentically.x I am deeply committed to creating a space that is affirming of LGBTQIA+ identities and supportive of clients navigating questions of belonging, identity, and cultural complexity. I value social justice and believe mental health care should be accessible, inclusive, and responsive to diverse communities. Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to music, poetry, and meditation as ways of connecting to meaning and grounding in everyday life. These creative practices often inform my clinical work as well, as I believe expression and reflection are vital parts of growth.
