About My Clients

I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients throughout my career and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My approach is grounded in openness, respect, and a nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to reflect, grow, and better understand themselves. Whether someone is navigating substance use, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I genuinely enjoy supporting people from all walks of life.

My Background and Approach

I earned my master’s degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in a CACREP-accredited counseling program. My clinical background is diverse and rooted in real-world experience. I’ve worked in medical settings assessing individuals at risk for suicide, with families involved in DHS, with veterans, and alongside individuals on federal probation. I have significant experience supporting clients navigating suicidal ideation, substance use, depression, anxiety, communication issues, boundary-setting, and more. As your therapist, one of the greatest compliments I can receive is that you feel safe and truly heard. While I have training in several structured treatment modalities, my approach is flexible, down-to-earth, and tailored to what works best for you. I focus on creating a nonjudgmental, supportive space where you can share your story and begin to find clarity and relief at your own pace.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’m deeply committed to equality, inclusion, and honoring the unique identities of every person I work with. I believe therapy should be a space where all voices are valued, especially those from communities that have been historically marginalized, oppressed, or overlooked. I’m passionate about social justice and a strong advocate for diversity in all its forms, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic status, and cultural background. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and strive to be culturally responsive in every aspect of my work. In my counseling space, you’ll find respect, curiosity, and compassion and not judgment. I work intentionally to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and safe to be your full self. For that hour, you are the most important person in the room no matter your walk of life.
