About My Clients
“You’ve spent years taking care of everyone else—but now you’re wondering what it means to show up for you.” I work with adults who are ready to heal from emotional neglect, people-pleasing, and attachment wounds that have shaped how they show up in relationships. Many of my clients grew up feeling unseen or overly responsible for others—and are now doing the deep, transformative work of reconnecting with their own emotional world.
My Background and Approach
I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, unheard, or unsure of where to turn. My work is deeply personal. I’ve seen how the right support can change a life. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I specialize in helping people who are often the strong ones for everyone else but are quietly carrying their own pain, anxiety, or burnout. My style is down-to-earth, honest, and compassionate. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT and mindfulness, but what matters most is building a real connection where you feel safe to be yourself, messy parts and all. I stay in regular supervision and continuing education because I believe my clients deserve nothing less than thoughtful, up-to-date care. If you’re ready to stop just surviving and start healing, I’m here to walk with you, not with judgment, but with genuine support and care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person holds an innate capacity for healing, even when that path feels distant or obscured by pain. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—because you’re not broken. It’s about creating space to reconnect with the parts of you that have been quieted, shaped by trauma, or hidden away to cope. As a therapist, I’m grounded in values of justice, compassion, and curiosity. I support and affirm LGBTQIA+ identities, body diversity, neurodivergence, and those navigating racial, cultural, or generational trauma. I stand with movements like Black Lives Matter and believe therapy can be a space to unpack and heal from systemic harm as well as personal struggle. Outside the therapy room, I engage in ongoing education around anti-oppression, trauma stewardship, and decolonizing mental health. I believe healing is not just personal—it’s also political and relational. I’m here to walk alongside you, honoring your story with deep care, presence, and respect.
