I strive to create a safe and affirming space for my clients to make that journey. I consider myself a “person-centered” therapist, so building a working therapeutic rapport with my clients is the first step towards healing. I believe that being authentic with my clients allows them to express their own authenticity.
My Background and Approach
I am a mid-life career-changer, so I am able to bring in my life and work experiences into sessions to help my clients and build rapport. As a trans and queer therapist, I understand the unique needs of queer communities. While I often employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness techniques, I will employ a variety of therapeutic methods in order to specialize your care to your needs.
