My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I believe in a Holistic, client-centered approach to Mental Health and well-being. I specialize in helping clients overcome feelings of inadequacy, navigate conflicts in their relationships, work with the client to find hope and purpose in their lives. I offer specialized therapy sessions tailored to address your unique needs and challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the potential for change and growth at any stage of life. There are no limits to what we can achieve. Many mental health issues stem from unhealthy learned behaviors, which means they can be unlearned and replaced with healthier ones. It is my life’s mission to help people see, they can have a whole different life outside of what they are currently living. A life that can be peaceful, where you truly understand that age old question “Why am I here?”. Outside of the therapy room, I am a huge sports fan. Any given day you can find me watching Nascar, Football, Hockey (I love my Canes and Bruins) and if youre wondering, Im a UNC fan. I am also active in community men’s group work. I have three teenagers that keep me involved in most of the latest music, although I feel as if I’m turning into my parents “What is this?, Why are they doing that?” Kids will never know the icons of the 70-00s, when we only had the radio and a handful of artists!
