About My Clients
I enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and others in a collaborative, supportive space where clients can show up as they are while navigating anxiety, mood or personality disorders, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I focus on building a genuine connection and helping clients find practical ways to cope, make sense of what they’re experiencing, and move toward feeling more grounded and steady in their lives.
My Background and Approach
I bring a background in in-home counseling, which helped me learn how to meet clients where they are and to adapt care to real-life settings. My approach is collaborative and flexible, drawing from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt, and person-centered therapy to tailor treatment to each person’s needs. I focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship while helping clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful, sustainable changes in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believes that mental health care should be affirming, accessible, and rooted in respect for each person’s lived experience. I am deeply committed to queer rights and creating inclusive spaces where individuals (especially those from marginalized populations) feel seen, valued, and supported. I believe therapy can be a powerful space for healing, self-discovery, and empowerment, especially for those who have not always felt accepted or understood in other environments.
