About My Clients
I work with women navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationships, and the emotional weight of pregnancy and motherhood. Together, we build a personalized plan that fits your life. You can expect to feel heard from day one and gradually reclaim your peace, clarity, and joy. Most women I work with begin to feel a meaningful shift within the first few weeks.
My Background and Approach
Welcome! I am Dr. Charisse Levchak, Founder and Clinical Director of Blossom Brightwell. As an LCSW and Doctor of Sociology specializing in women and the family, my private practice is rooted in a deep understanding of societal factors that impact your life as well as providing comfort and expert-level care to help you find more peace, clarity, and joy in your life. We offer distinct pathways tailored to your needs and location. Clinical Therapy tracks (trauma healing, emotional stabilization, and perinatal/postpartum containment) are exclusively open to residents of CT, MA, and NM. Non-clinical tracks (reflective counseling, coaching, isolation support, life layout planning, and V.I.T.A.L.™ relationship planning) are available to women and couples worldwide. Clinical tracks are informed by Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory. We operate on a private-pay model to protect absolute client confidentiality. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a sociologist and clinical social worker, my dedication to social justice, advocacy, and equity is woven into the very fabric of my practice. I believe individual mental health cannot be separated from the social architectures, institutional cultures, and systemic pressures that surround us. As the author of Microaggressions and Modern Racism: Endurance and Evolution (published by Palgrave Macmillan), I show how systemic biases and interpersonal exclusions impact individuals and families over time—and as a clinical social worker, I provide trauma-informed solutions that empower and affirm clients. At Blossom Brightwell, I stand with women, BIPOC communities, and targeted professionals navigating hostile environments. Rather than asking you to simply endure systemic stress, my practice operates as a validating containment zone dedicated to helping you build firm boundaries, heal from institutional trauma, and recover your full agency.
