About My Clients
I offer liberation‑decolonial therapy that honors the ways racism, sexism, ableism, and other oppressions have made you feel unseen and blamed. Your exhaustion, anxiety, grief, and anger are natural responses to a broken system, not personal failures. In therapy we’ll gently explore the safety strategies you’ve built, amplify the parts of you that haven’t been heard, and cultivate intentional, connected ways of being. If you’re ready for care, I’d love to walk this path with you.
My Background and Approach
With a foundation in community organizing alongside youth and emerging adults, I’ve witnessed firsthand how systemic oppression—racism, sexism, ableism, and more—creates systemic trauma and leaves many feeling unseen and blamed. Those experiences sparked my commitment to a therapeutic practice that honors lived realities, dismantles oppressive narratives, and cultivates radical, agency‑filled relationships. I weave a critical analysis of power dynamics with liberation‑decolonial and healing‑justice frameworks, anchored by disability‑ and abolitionist values. Drawing on Relational‑Cultural Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology, I treat connection itself as the engine of growth and resilience. In our work together we’ll gently explore the safety strategies you’ve built, amplify the parts of you that haven’t been heard, and co‑create intentional, connected ways of being that resist the broken systems demanding constant adaptation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person carries the innate capacity for transformation. Rooted in transformative justice, I see therapy as a safe space where we can honor past trauma and survival while moving toward values‑aligned practices. Relationships are inherently vulnerable, so I’m committed to helping you develop the skills to navigate ruptures, repair harm, and co‑create “power‑with” dynamics—whether you’re the one who caused hurt or the one who experienced it. In the therapy room we’ll unpack power imbalances, nurture interdependence, and practice the very skills that empower you to resist oppressive systems in everyday life. By building these relational tools together, we not only support individual healing but also ripple stronger, more resilient communities outward.
