Have you been struggling to figure out your voice in your relationship, family, or the society? Are you trying to find someone who can trust and to talk to? Don't worry. You are at the right place to express, explore, and uncover. I am here to provide you with a safe space to find a peaceful moment and reconnect with your inner strengths in our regular sessions.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with diverse adult, teens, and couples from multi-cultural background (specially Asian American) in non-profit agency, school system, art therapy clinic, and private practice. My clients and supervisors commented me as a trustworthy, caring, and effective therapist. I would collaborate with you to explore your wants and needs, establish your boundaries, explore your coping skills, and reconnect with your strengths in verbal and non-verbal ways. When art therapy utilized in talk therapy sessions, you are set free to be the "inner child", the authentic and brave you again. I will collaboratively help you promote freedom of expression, surpass language barriers, reduce feelings of embarrassment, focus on the “here and now”, uncover the unconscious mind, and enhance transformation in a receptive and effective way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My own experience in making life/career transitions, moving to another country, exploring my identities, paired with my art therapy specialty and cultural sensitivity will provide you some new insights into your relationship and life in general. I believe art is a universal language, can promote freedom in expression, make wants and needs to be heard and seen, and be utilized by anyone in need. Learn more at CHAOTHERAPY.com
